Description:

Join our team at Bridgeway Park Canton Senior Living Facility as a Caregiver. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to our valued residents. If you have experience administering medications and have a passion for working with the elderly in a welcoming environment with competitive pay rates, we have the perfect position for you! Responsibilities:

  • Providing assistance to residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking
  • Ensuring the cleanliness of the environment which may involve light housekeeping duties
  • Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
  • Monitoring for changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicate any changes to the supervisor
  • Following schedule, assisting residents with repositioning
  • Adhering to procedures regarding documenting of medications accurately
  • Utilize good judgment in providing client care and ensuring their safety
  • Assisting other team members with their duties as necessary
  • Responding to call lights and assess residents’ needs promptly
  • Obtain meal trays and assist with eating
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Experience working with the elderly is
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Every other weekend is required.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Valid Driver’s license or ID.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to arrive on time for every shift.
