Substitute Teacher (On-Call)

Key Responsibilities:

- Step into classrooms on short notice to provide instruction and support to students in the absence of their regular teacher

- Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure continuity of instruction

- Manage classroom behavior and foster a positive learning environment

- Assist students with assignments and clarify instructions as needed

- Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth daily operations

- Maintain student safety and adhere to school policies and procedures

Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or teaching certification preferred

- Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is advantageous

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and grade levels

- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
