  • Strong working knowledge of medical coding principles and healthcare billing procedures.
  • Experience using leading practice management (PM) systems, such as eClinicalWorks (eCW), ModMed, Athenahealth, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of insurance claim submission requirements, payer guidelines, and pre-authorization processes.
  • Ability to identify coding errors, clinical editing issues, and potential claim inaccuracies before submission.
  • Familiarity with payment posting workflows, including ERAs, EOBs, adjustments, denials, reconciliation, and account resolution.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and following through on outstanding tasks.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to investigate discrepancies and resolve payment-related issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work US business hours, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET), to support collaboration with the team and customers.
Benefits
