Engineering Positions

Our Engineering team is responsible for all operation, repair, and maintenance of engines, water pumps, air compressors, electric motors, and other electrical equipment onboard the vessel. Additionally, they are responsible for maintenance and repair of refrigeration systems, high and low pressure hydraulic systems, evaporative and reverse osmosis water makers and onboard sewage treatment systems. Our Engineering team is made up of multiple personnel onboard as follows:

• Chief Engineer: Oversees and performs all mechanical functions associated with the operation of the vessel itself. Pay is based upon experience, qualifications and performance. Required USCG license equivalent to or greater than Chief Engineer UFIV, Unlimited HP.
• 1st Assistant Engineer: Alternates with Chief Engineer and performs all mechanical functions associated with the operation of the vessel itself. Pay is based upon experience, qualifications and performance. Required USCG license equivalent to Asst Engineer UFIV (Unltd HP) ; 3rd Asst Engineer (Unltd HP), or DDE (Unltd HP).
• Assistant Engineer: Works as directed by the Chief Engineer to assist and perform mechanical functions associated with the operation of the vessel itself. Pay is based upon experience, qualifications and performance.
• Oiler / Wiper: Works as directed by the Chief Engineer to assist Engineers with mechanical functions associated with the operation of the vessel. Pay is based upon experience, qualifications and performance.
• Electrician: Performs electrical service and maintenance on all shipboard machinery. Works as directed by Chief Engineer. Pay is based upon experience, qualifications and performance
