Custodian in Eau Claire, Wisconsin at Silver Spring Foods Inc

1st Shift - Monday-Friday, 6am to 2pm

Starting Wage: $17 per hour

The basic function of a Custodian is to complete all required custodial work for the Silver Spring Foods facility. Position is responsible for care and cleaning of the offices, lunchroom, locker rooms and other building interiors.

You are Thorough: You have a keen eye and know your areas of responsibility well, taking care to clean the areas thoroughly and completely. You notice when other work needs to be done in your areas such as replacing lightbulbs or painting walls and ensure that the maintenance department is aware of each requirement.

Works Well With Others: Works closely and positively with manager and other people at all levels in the company.

Education:

Required: High school diploma, general knowledge of production, warehousing, forklift operations, and batch operator duties. Strong mechanical abilities.

Preferred: Forklift Certification with 1 year forklift experience and 1 year of assembly line experience in a food service environment.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitation techniques.
• Ability to accurately recognize safe working habits and work effectively with others.
• Must have good attention to detail, organizational skills, and must be a self-starter.
