Business Support Analyst Senior

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Support Analyst Senior based in the United States.

This role provides advanced data analytics and business support for high-profile corporate communications and public affairs initiatives.
You will transform moderately complex data into meaningful insights, reports, and visualizations that help leaders make informed decisions.
The position offers broad exposure to philanthropic, volunteer, member-giving, communications, public relations, and brand perception programs.
You will combine business analysis, data analytics, operational expertise, and process improvement to support organization-wide strategies.
The role involves partnering with multiple teams to understand requirements, identify opportunities, and develop practical solutions.
You will also contribute to risk management, reporting controls, process improvements, and the implementation of new capabilities.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of complex business functions, with specialized knowledge of assigned areas, processes, and related activities.
  • Support the development of business goals and objectives by leveraging data, improving distribution channels, and simplifying operational processes.
  • Provide operational support for complex processes while identifying opportunities and solutions that address current and future business needs.
  • Gather, validate, and analyze information from trusted sources, identify trends and root causes, and develop actionable work products.
  • Conduct end-to-end business analysis activities, including requirements gathering, documentation, operational planning, forecasting, and current- and future-state analysis.
  • Present documented findings, alternatives, insights, and recommended actions to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Produce reports, dashboards, data visualizations, and ad-hoc analyses that support management decisions and regulatory requirements.
  • Review reporting and measurement controls and recommend improvements to strengthen accuracy, effectiveness, and governance.
  • Participate in planning, research, analysis, development, and implementation of new or enhanced applications, processes, products, and services.
  • Maintain broad knowledge of relevant systems and business strategies, staying current on system enhancements and organizational initiatives.
  • Identify training needs and support the development and implementation of appropriate training plans.
  • Assist with documenting new and revised departmental procedures and business processes.
  • Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders to establish a common understanding of business requirements and promote standardized processes.
  • Serve as a resource for team members and provide support on escalated routine issues.
  • Contribute to policies, standards, risk management practices, and controls associated with relevant business processes.
  • Ensure business risks are appropriately identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with applicable risk and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience; four years of relevant education and/or experience may be considered in place of a degree.
  • 5–6 years of experience in end-to-end business analysis and/or operations, including requirements gathering and documentation, operational planning and forecasting, data analytics, or current/future-state analysis.
  • Advanced knowledge of systems coordination, process and product review initiatives, and the development of management information requirements.
  • Strong understanding of business operations, systems, and business requirements processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate collaboration, align stakeholders around business requirements, and drive standardized processes across an organization.
  • Experience using business intelligence and analytics platforms such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, or Google Analytics.
  • Experience with data analysis and programming tools such as SQL, Python, and R.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data and business information into clear insights and practical recommendations.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accountability for delivering accurate, high-quality work.
  • Predictive analytics experience is preferred.
  • Experience with prescriptive analytics is a plus.
  • Data management experience is desirable.
  • Previous U.S. military service or experience as a military spouse/domestic partner is highly valued.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future immigration sponsorship, including H-1B, TN, or STEM OPT support.
Benefits:
  • Salary range of $85,040–$162,550, with actual compensation determined by experience, market data, and work location.
  • Potential eligibility for additional compensation incentives based on individual and organizational performance.
  • Remote eligibility within the continental United States, with occasional business travel.
  • Employees living within 60 miles of an applicable office may be expected to work on-site four days per week.
