Job Description
The Data Entry Coordinator is responsible for entry of all data into the EXYM EHR System in accordance with the Data Rules and Reporting Timeframes, exporting data, and is the designated point of contact to address data quality and systems issues. This position is responsible for the operational aspects of tracking, entering, reconciling, and billing data and the policies and procedures associated with these activities.
Essential Duties:- Ensure data security in respect to the protection, use, and disclosure of protected health information.
- Oversee daily data entry, ensuring timely and accurate upload of information.
- Verify data accuracy as input by faculty.
- Provide technical support helpdesk for Community with respect to use of Exym EHR and data entry.
- Abide by policies and procedures outlining release of data, maintaining appropriate documentation.
- Maintain and prepare the Utilization Reports as necessary.
- Utilize Power BI software to track and audit services.
- Ensure that technical and procedural best practices related to data security are upheld.
- Participate in annual training provided by IT Department.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Required:
- Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent
- Proven track record of data entry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn new techniques.
- Willing to be trained on software used across the agency.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage tasks and priorities effectively.
- Ability to adapt to evolving data technologies and industry best practices.

- Understanding of causes, symptoms, and effects of substance abuse.
Skills/Abilities:
- Attention to detail, and ability to manage large amounts of data.
- Ability to integrate, disseminate, and implement data requirements, reporting timeframes and/or procedure changes.
- Ability to collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team. Excellent interpersonal, written communications and typing skills.
- Understand and appropriately apply Amity policies and procedures and adhere to agencywide practices and regulations.
- Protect program participants’ health, safety, welfare, and confidentiality of records and participant information.
- Model professionalism, effective work habits and responsible living.
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally adjusts or moves objects up to 50lbs. in all directions.
- Constantly remains in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Repeats motions that may include the wrists, hands and / or fingers.
- Required to communicate verbally and in written form.
- Uses all types of vision, such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception, to complete daily tasks.
- Assesses the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
- Occasionally required to climb, bend, stretch, reach, or stoop.
- Required to wear comfortable and location appropriate clothing and shoes.
Mental Demands:
- Ability to change directions as a priorities shift.
- Ability to thrive in environment that require the ability to adapt to changing circumstances,
- Ability to cope with occasionally difficult or temperamental students and faculty.

Environmental Conditions:
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud.
- The temperature in the work environment is generally moderate, however it can range from hot to cold seasonally.
Travel:
- Occasionally travels locally and operates motor vehicles.
