Customer Success Operations Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Customer Success Operations Specialist based in India.

This role is central to supporting customer success teams through accurate, efficient, and well-managed commercial operations.
You will manage renewal activities, create quotes, support customer-facing teams, and help ensure contracts and orders move smoothly through the operational cycle.
The position requires close collaboration across Customer Success, Sales, Channel, Operations, and Billing functions.
You will also act as a data steward, helping maintain accurate customer, partner, and prospect information within Salesforce.
Your attention to detail will directly contribute to reliable quoting, billing, renewals, and customer experiences.
This is a remote opportunity suited to an organized, proactive professional who enjoys solving operational challenges and improving processes.
The role follows working hours from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM and is based remotely in Bengaluru, India.

Accountabilities
  • Support the Customer Success organization throughout the customer contract lifecycle, with a particular focus on renewals.

  • Create and manage renewal quotes while ensuring deal structures accurately reflect the subscriptions and services being renewed.

  • Respond promptly to Customer Success Manager inquiries related to quotes, orders, invoices, and related operational matters.

  • Follow up on renewal activities through booking and order completion, processing orders where required.

  • Review contract information against financial models to ensure data consistency and confirm that all required approvals are in place.

  • Maintain accurate partner, prospect, and customer information in Salesforce, acting as a key data steward.

  • Support various stages of the quote-to-cash process, including opportunity creation, order management, and related administrative activities.

  • Collaborate effectively with Sales, Customer Success, Channel, Operations, Billing, and other cross-functional teams to resolve issues and keep processes moving.

  • Identify and address data or process discrepancies with a strong focus on accuracy, quality, and timely execution.

  • Handle operational responsibilities independently while maintaining clear communication with relevant stakeholders.

Requirements
  • 4+ years of professional experience in sales operations or a closely related operational role.

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce.com is required.

  • Prior experience working with quoting, subscriptions, contracts, renewals, or related commercial processes.

  • Experience supporting quote-to-cash workflows and sales or customer success operations.

  • Previous experience working with channel partners is a plus.

  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited university.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests, deadlines, and stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated and proactive approach, with the ability to take ownership without requiring constant supervision.

  • Highly detail-oriented and process-focused, with a strong commitment to data accuracy and quality.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly when investigating discrepancies in contracts, quotes, orders, or customer data.

  • Comfortable collaborating across multiple business functions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work remotely while maintaining effective communication, accountability, and responsiveness.

  • Ability to participate in video interviews with the camera enabled; accommodations may be available where technical, accessibility, or other circumstances require them.
