This position will be responsible for managing our clinics in Blountstown, Bristol, Marianna, Port St. Joe, Malone, and Youngstown, Florida.
Responsibilities:
- Provide operational leadership and oversight for assigned medical clinic operations to support efficient service delivery, patient access, and organizational goals.
- Develop, implement, and monitor operational strategies, policies, and workflows to improve efficiency, productivity, and patient experience.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to support the delivery of high-quality patient care and achievement of organizational quality goals.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure responsible stewardship of organizational resources.
- Monitor provider productivity, staffing utilization, scheduling effectiveness, and operational performance to maximize efficiency and patient access.
- Recruit, lead, develop, and evaluate operational staff, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, accreditation standards, organizational policies, HIPAA requirements, and quality initiatives.
- Support risk management, patient safety, infection prevention, and emergency preparedness activities within assigned operations.
- Monitor patient satisfaction and patient access metrics and implement strategies to improve service delivery and patient experience.
- Establish, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs), operational metrics, quality measures, and departmental performance outcomes.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and lead initiatives designed to improve operational effectiveness, patient outcomes, and organizational performance.
- Collaborate with Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Revenue Cycle, Quality, and other departments to support operational goals and organizational initiatives.
- Participate in strategic planning, service expansion, program development, and organizational growth initiatives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, healthcare organizations, and external stakeholders as appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong leadership and team development skills with the ability to build, coach, and retain high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare operations, including patient access, scheduling, staffing, workflow management, quality initiatives, and operational best practices.
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, resource allocation, productivity management, financial analysis, and operational performance improvement.
- Knowledge of applicable federal and state healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, HIPAA requirements, and quality improvement principles.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage employees, providers, leadership, patients, community partners, and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze operational data, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, support decision-making, and drive organizational performance.
- Strong strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to develop and implement effective operational solutions.
- Ability to lead organizational change, manage competing priorities, and adapt to evolving operational and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, healthcare technology platforms, Microsoft Office applications, and data reporting tools.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across departments to support organizational goals and service excellence.
- Commitment to patient-centered service, operational excellence, and continuous quality improvement.
- Regular and predictable onsite attendance.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible healthcare operations experience, including at least three (3) years in a leadership role.
- Experience managing multi-site healthcare operations, operational performance, staffing, budgets, and process improvement initiatives preferred.
- Experience working in a community health center, ambulatory care, multi-specialty practice, or similar healthcare environment preferred.
