As an EDI IBM Sterling Integrator Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-level B2B integration solutions that enable seamless data exchange across complex business ecosystems. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-impact integration projects, ensuring reliable communication between systems, partners, and platforms. You will contribute to the development and optimization of EDI processes, troubleshoot technical challenges, and enhance system performance in a dynamic and collaborative environment. - Design, develop, deploy, and maintain EDI integration solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
- Build, support, monitor, and optimize IBM Sterling Commerce applications, pipelines, and related components.
- Develop and manage business processes using BPML and Sterling adapters to support complex integration requirements.
- Create and maintain EDI mappings across multiple formats, including ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, CSV, Flat Files, and JSON.
- Configure and support communication protocols such as FTP, SFTP, AS2, and VAN to ensure secure and reliable data exchange.
- Monitor EDI transactions, investigate issues, troubleshoot system performance concerns, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable integration solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Provide technical leadership, knowledge sharing, and guidance to team members when required.
- 15+ years of hands-on experience working with IBM Sterling Integrator (version 5.2.6 or higher).
- Extensive experience developing, maintaining, supporting, and monitoring IBM Sterling Commerce applications and integration workflows.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-scale EDI solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
- Strong hands-on experience with BPML (Business Process Modeling Language) and Sterling adapters.
- Deep understanding of EDI standards and mapping formats, including ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, CSV, Flat Files, and JSON.
- Solid experience with communication protocols such as FTP, SFTP, AS2, and VAN.
- Strong technical knowledge of DB2, SQL, XML, XSLT, Web Services, and API integrations.
- Experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing EDI transaction processing and system performance.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and collaborative delivery environments.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convert business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote environment.
- Experience within supply chain operations and mentoring junior developers is considered an advantage.
