Description:

Irvinton Village Apartments is now hiring a Porter/ Make Ready (Ticket Runner) in North Houston.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements
  • Maintain snow removal, cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas
  • Provide residents with outstanding customer service
  • Keep the property clean and free of trash and debris
  • Pick up trash around buildings, parking areas, and common spaces
  • Clean breezeways, stairwells, and other shared areas
  • Maintain dumpster and trash areas
  • Assist the maintenance team with light tasks when needed
  • Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management
  • Help keep the community neat and welcoming for residents
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in maintenance or custodial work is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift 50lbs

Requirements

Requirements: Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs. Replace hardware, lighting, cleanliness and curb appeal of community grounds. Follow safety protocols and maintain tools and equipment in good condition. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting.

Requirements: Plumbing, electrical, HVAC certification, water heater installation, gas appliances installation, high volume work orders, help make ready and any other tasks.
