Emergency Medical Services Course Coordinator in Dillingham, Alaska at Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must successfully complete American Heart Association Basic Life Support Instructor Certification and Emergency Trauma Technician (ETT) Instructor certification within one year of hire. EMT-I preferred.
• Validated demonstration of strong organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Evidenced ability to foster cooperative working relationships with community partners.
• Displayed ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Demonstrated ability to complete office procedures, operate computer equipment, and use principles of filing and record keeping with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Serves as the primary administrative support to the EMS Program, including prioritizing work to ensure that it is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Compiles, organizes, and presents data for EMS quality reporting; maintains and collects confidential material and records including regulatory requirements for maintaining educational records.
• Assists with the day-to-day training needs, including answering phones, scheduling courses, maintaining rosters, and responding to email inquiries.
• Conducts outreach efforts with business entities, tribes, school districts and city governments regionwide to offer courses and promote and maintain emergency preparedness and first responders for the region.
• Prepares reports and presentations as needed.
