Class A CDL Truck Driver

Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Jupiter site is looking for a new CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our Contract Logistics team. As Truck Driver, you are responsible for loading and unloading a truck, driving a truck, transporting customer owned products, ensuring accuracy of paperwork, adhering to safety rules, and meeting strict delivery deadlines. You must be available to work split shifts as required.


How you create impact
  • Transporting parts and tooling to production and development facilities
  • Securing material and tooling inside truck
  • Transporting Engines to test sites
  • Picking up and delivering boxes and packages
  • Transporting hazardous material (fuel) to test sites
  • Loading and unloading of material and tooling
  • Inspecting vehicles before operation
  • Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
  • Read and comprehend written documents such as work instructions, job aids, bill of materials, shipping and delivery documents
  • Ensure loads match transportation orders communicated by yard management system
  • Being able to work in all weather conditions
  • Being able to meet strict delivery deadlines
  • Perform vehicle safety checks andmeet all safety requirements
  • Obey and follow established traffic and transportation policies
  • Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles
  • Maintains records (e.g. delivery log, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities
  • Submit and pass random Drug and Alcohol screening as require
  • Other duties as assigned

This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employer sponsorship.


What we would like you to bring
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Minimum Education: High School Degree or Equivalent
  • Minimum Requirement: CDL License, Class A with at least 1 year experience. Two (2) years experience preferred
  • Must have Hazmat Endorsement
  • Must have Driver Qualification Training / Driver Training Course from approved training provider
  • Must have a good driving record
  • Must have flatbed and box truckexperience
  • Good interpersonal and verbal / written communication skills
  • Overtime and weekends may be required
