Society Insurance is seeking an experienced Subrogation Specialist to join our Claims team. This position assists with the subrogation efforts within the Claims departments by conducting investigations on losses that are determined to have a subrogation potential.

About the Role

• Resolves subrogation claims by conducting additional investigations and comparing claim information with evidence.
• Aids in developing and delivering annual training programs for claims staff.
• Professionally represents the Claims Department and Society Insurance while working with internal and external customers.
• Ensures proper file documentation of assigned files by complying with company and state requirements.
• Helps with coordinating bi-annual closed-files audits with outside vendors.

What it Will Take

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field OR 3+ years of claims handling experience.
• Familiarity with Property, Auto, Liability, and Work Comp coverages, laws, and concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret multi-state statutes, common law, and insurance law.
• Ability to obtain and maintain proper licensing prior to handling a state where Society requires it.
