Registered Nurse-Med/Surg at Granville Medical Center – Oxford, North Carolina

RN – Medical/Surgical Nights

The fulltime night shift position will consist of three, 12-hour shifts per week (7p-7a).

Position Summary

The MedSurg RN supports Granville Health System’s vision to “Make a positive difference in the health and well-being of our communities.” The RN assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients, providing care through the continued utilization of the nursing process in collaboration with other health team members. The RN will be responsible for meeting the standards required by JCAHO, CMS, GHS and other regulating agencies for managing all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment in the unit. The RN will utilize the healthcare system EMR for appropriate and timely documentation of care provided.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina or compatible compact licensure.

Current BLS certification.

Within 6 months of hire the RN will obtain ACLS (offered internally).
