About This Position
The CMH Cardiology Clinic Medical Group and Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab Manager provides leadership, supervises and coordinates activities of the CMH/OHSU Cardiology Clinic and the cardiac and pulmonary rehab department. Plans for and develops clinical programming in clinics, assuring optimal quality care and continuity for patients and families. Responsible for overseeing day to day business and/or clinical operations. Responsible for administrative oversight and supervision of all clinical and administrative staff to enhance quality of care to clinics’ customers. Plans for and oversees annual budgets.

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/education.
- Previous clinic office management experience required. Cardiology experience preferred.

- Monitors clinic and individual provider productivity based on established standards.
- Provides monthly financial and statistical summaries to the Accounting Department, VP of Finance, VPMedical Group Operations, and physicians.
- Participates in CMH planning, decision-making, and policy formulation related to cardiology services and CMH Medical Group.
- Meet with providers regularly.
- Meets regularly with appropriate hospital managers to ensure continuity of care. Develops strong relationships between the hospital department managers and the CMH clinics.
- Meets regularly with the CMH Medical Group management team to coordinate processes and projects consistently throughout all CMH Medical Group clinics.
- In collaboration with the providers/nurses/VP-Patient Care Services /clinical managers, reviews and revises standards of patient care within the CMH Clinics to ensure delivery of excellence in patient care.
- Coordinate outreach projects related to cardiology services.
- Develop processes to improve efficiency in scheduling and patient flow within the clinics.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Act as liaison with the OHSU Cardiology program.
- Collaborates with inpatient, ancillary, and other outpatient clinical leadership in developing care paths and continuums that facilitate patient safety and optimize clinical outcomes.
- Anticipates operational and functional requirements to enable program development and expansion.
- Plans for and develops clinical programming in clinics, assuring optimal quality care and continuity for patients and families.
- Tracks and maintains compliance with all federal and state regulatory requirements.
- Works in collaboration with VP- Nursing Services and Director of Quality.
- Works collaboratively with all CMH Medical Group managers to enhance typical patient and staff experiences of excellence and consistency throughout all specialty practices.
- Manages the day-to-day operations of the physician practices and related cardiology services. This includes developing business and clinical flows that facilitate patient satisfaction and maximize efficiency.
- Oversees the physician environment and clinical equipment, ensuring patient safety and anticipating the needs of patients, families, providers, and staff.
- Works closely with the Revenue Cycle Director and CMH Clinic Billing staff to ensure optimal revenue cycle and outcomes.
- Monitors other patient access measures, including phone statistics, access, patient waits, appointments, etc. Takes corrective action as required.
- Ensure cardiac and pulmonary rehab programs operate within the AACVPR and OSCVPR guidelines.
- Works with the medical directors for cardiac and pulmonary rehab to ensure successful operation and evidence-based care for the cardiac and pulmonary rehab programs.
