Overview of the Role & Team

We are looking for you, a highly motivated, organized, customer focused, driven and goals-oriented individual. The Sales and Recruitment Coordinator for ILAC will report directly to the Head of International Sales and work across the ILAC matrix closely with the Recruitment Managers, the Accommodation department and School Operations providing the highest quality experience to all our agents during the pre-arrival admissions process.

The Sales and Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for providing an ongoing support for agents helping them with all inquiries and by ensuring a high-quality customer experience; processing student registration applications, agent invoices and issuing other supporting documentation in a timely fashion. The position involves cooperative work with Finance, Homestay and other departments inside the company and will include other daily administrative tasks. The position also includes assisting the Head of International Sales with the areas of developing agent relationships and promoting ILAC programs in a source region, participation in educational fairs and sales and recruitment events.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responds to telephone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries from local and overseas agencies.
  • Ensures agents receive outstanding customer service experience.
  • Provides information and delivers walking tours to prospective agents when needed.
  • Maintains positive business relationships with agencies.
  • Answers agent inquiries about packages and prices.
  • Knows extensively a source market price list and uses it effectively as a tool for calculation fees for student bookings.
  • Coordinates the booking and arrival process with all key departments involved (Regional Ambassador, Finance, Homestay).
  • Stores collected student personal information confidentially and securely; uploads all necessary documentation to Edmiss.
  • Works cooperatively with the departments involved towards effective problem resolution.
  • Supports application process delivered by Global Sales Support and coordinates on new sales and recruitment requirements and application items.
  • Covers Global Sales Support duties when required.
  • Participates in planning of sales and recruitment campaigns and events that promote company’s programs.
  • Continuously keeps agents informed about school programs, options, developments.
  • In collaboration with the Head of the department attends educational fairs in source countries; maintains efficient networking and recruits new students and agents.


Requirements

  • University or college degree in business or related field, or an appropriate combination of education and experience;
  • 1-2 years of successful relevant experience, preferably in Education industry, Travel, and Sales;
  • Excellent customer care and service excellence attitude;
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required;
  • Acts with ethics and integrity and demonstrates sound judgment and respect for the individual in all interactions with others;
  • Works well in an unstructured and entrepreneurial environment where decisions and actions need to happen quickly and professionally;
  • Solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently;
  • Strong computer proficiency, Microsoft Office, Excel, Word;
  • Strong mathematical competence.

    The role will be onsite in Downtown Vancouver
