Job Description

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: The Technical Support Specialist will be a key player in managing and supporting all aspects of Information Technology at FranFund. Acting as the backbone of our technology operations, the Technical Support Specialist will balance hands-on technical troubleshooting with strategic oversight. This dynamic role involves a variety of exciting responsibilities aimed at ensuring smooth system performance, seamless connectivity, and optimal support for our team. The Technical Support Specialist will help drive operational efficiency and innovation, ensuring that all technology-related needs are met proactively and effectively.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Diagnose and resolve issues across computers, internet, phone systems, printers, TVs, software, and access rights with speed and precision.
  • Partner with our Managed Services Provider (MSP) like a pro. Escalate complex issues, ensure seamless resolutions, and speak the IT language to keep communication crystal-clear.
  • Lead and execute engaging cybersecurity training programs to keep our team sharp and secure.
  • Take the IT helm on exciting projects, from planning to rollout, ensuring everything stays on track and delivers value.
  • Manage purchasing, tracking, setup, and organization of equipment. Unboxing new gear and managing subscriptions.
  • Provide hands-on support for TVs, meeting setups, and more, ensuring every presentation and call goes off without a hitch.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 2-3 years of experience in an IT support or coordination role, including hands-on technical support, systems administration, or project management.
  • Experience with IT infrastructure, including networking, cloud services, and data backup/recovery.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management principles and practices.
  • Eager to learn, adapt and take on new challenges.
  • Comfortable navigating computers, networks, phone systems, and software.
  • Team player who is self-motivated.
  • Previous experience working for an MSP or managed MSP relationships and experience with Salesforce or FastSlow Motion coordination is a plus.
