Front Range Program Coordinator
Job Title: Front Range Program Coordinator
Location: Denver, CO
Reports to: Operations & Volunteer Manager
Salary: $23/hr
Employment Term: Full-time, seasonal
Start Date: Sept 1, 2025
Position Type: In-person
At SOS Outreach, we believe that belonging starts on the mountain and lasts a lifetime. We’re a passionate team using the outdoors as a platform to mentor youth, build character, and create space for every young person to show up as their full selves. Whether it’s carving down a slope, hitting the trail, or leading a community project—our participants learn what they’re capable of.
Since 1993, we’ve served over 80,000 youth across 9 states and 15 communities, with programs rooted in outdoor adventure, positive adult mentorship, and leadership development. Our programs aren’t just about skiing or snowboarding—they’re about helping young people develop confidence, resilience, and a sense of purpose.
We’re proud to be building a justice-centered organization where people from all backgrounds are welcomed and valued. Our team deeply believes in equity, representation, and cultural responsiveness—and we’re committed to doing the work, both with our youth and one another. If you care about social justice, community, and youth development—we want to meet you.
As the Program Coordinator, you’ll lead SOS Outreach’s Learn to Ride and SnowCore Program in Denver, serving as the key connector between youth, schools, volunteers, and mountain partners. You’ll manage logistics, facilitate programming, and create life-changing experiences for young people—most of whom are hitting the slopes for the first time. You’ll have potential to support our Mentor Program and work within our Denver and Summit staff teams to bring our mission to life.
This is a hands-on role with impact built into every day—from prepping gear to empowering youth to take on new challenges. You’ll be part of a supportive and driven team that knows the power of youth development and fresh mountain air.
