Electrical Technician at Palm Capital Group LLC – San Diego, California

· Install, troubleshoot, and repair lighting systems, controls, and electrical components.

· Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and lighting equipment.

· Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment.

· Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.

· Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, and supervisors to complete projects on time.

· Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Required Skills and Abilities:

· Experience as an electrical or lighting technician.

· Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

· Regular consistent and timely attendance is required.

· On call is required for after hours emergencies. May require work in the evening, on weekends and holidays.

Required Education and Experience:

· · Must be authorized to work in the United States.

· · High school diploma or GED certificate required.

· · At least one year of experience providing administrative support.

· Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to job sites.

· · Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English verbally and in writing.

Physical Job Requirements

· · Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.

· · Comfortable working at heights and outdoors as needed.

· · Ability to move in and out of a variety of positions, which include the following: sitting, standing, walking, squatting, stair and ladder climbing, kneeling, belly crawling, overhead reaching, lifting, and carrying.
