Description: Employment Status:Part timeShift:Day/Evening (United States of America)Facility:4444 Electric Rd - RoanokeRequisition Number:R152097 RN Educator - CNA/Nursing Ancillary Instructor (Open)How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare:This position will provide education support as a CNA clinical instructor with Burton Center for Arts and Technology through Roanoke County Public schools and as an instructor for the Nursing Ancillary Academy (NAA) for Carilion Clinic.
The Human Resources consultant provides strategic consultative services for their area of Human Resources to employees and departments across the system.
Ensures timely, accurate and consistent information is delivered for projects and System initiatives.
Participates on, and may lead, larger scope combined tactical/strategic projects.
Monitors content and timelines; works to ensure key deadlines and needs are met using collaborative processes.
Provides services that are tailored to the specific needs of the situation, using advanced expertise to align with overall organizational goals/objectives and strategy.
Continuously focuses on process improvement and proactively presenting solutions.
Serves as primary contact for vendors and/or leadership.
Participates in more complex consulting processes during all interactions and assists HR peers in understanding and utilization.
Anticipates needs and consults with clients to develop collaborative solutions, evaluate outcomes and take corrective actions as needed.
Develops and maintains working relationships with others across the system and promotes effective relationships and outcomes.
Maintains a focus on the strategic, critical needs of the COE, HR and overall organization.
Serves as a culture and change management champion. Gains support of key stakeholders by educating them on issues and practices, and how they can align with overall organizational objectives.
Maintains a broad knowledge of all HR areas and activities, while specializing in area working in.
Develops and mentor employees within their department or other HR areas.
Continuously develops advanced knowledge in designated Center of Expertise (COE) as well as maintains a thorough working knowledge of other HR areas, HR initiatives and broader organizational priorities. Participates on multi-disciplinary teams as a resource and expert in COE field.
Education: Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in lieu of degree may be accepted.
Experience: 3 years of experience in specialized area.
Licensure, certification, and/or registration: None
Other Minimum Qualifications: Excellent customer service and written/verbal communication skills, including presentation skills, analytical thinking, interpersonal skills. Must work well in a team environment and have a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Ability to work on multiple tasks/projects while meeting deadlines and being flexible in an environment of changing priorities. Has broad knowledge of all HR areas and activities, while specializing with knowledge in area.
