About This Position
WHO WE ARE
At HV Health and Safety, we are passionate about fostering growth and embracing change to create thriving, safe work environments. We bring a unique perspective to workplace safety, offering exceptional services that help businesses achieve the best outcomes.
Our commitment to honesty, integrity, and respect defines everything we do. We take pride in our ability to be problem solvers—finding practical solutions to complex challenges—and maintaining a positive outlook in every situation. Our team members are not only professionals—they are passionate individuals who understand the importance of safety and well-being for both the workforce and their loved ones.
WHO YOU ARE
You’re a driven and compassionate professional with a background in occupational health. You bring both grit and grace to your work—willing to dig in when challenges arise while never losing sight of the human side of care. You thrive in environments where relationships matter, partnering closely with employees, safety teams, and operations leaders to ensure each case is handled with integrity and care.
You’re process-minded and data-driven, using systems and metrics to stay organized and accountable, but you also understand that behind every case is a person who deserves respect and follow-through. You take pride in building trust across departments and driving outcomes that protect both people and performance.
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
Behind every recovery is a story — and at the center of that story is a team that refuses to let people fall through the cracks. The Case Management Manager is the person who brings that team together.
In this role, you set the tone for how care is delivered, how relationships are built, and how results are achieved. You’ll lead a group of compassionate professionals who coordinate care that helps employees heal faster, return to work safely, and feel genuinely supported along the way. Your leadership ensures that every case, every phone call, and every report reflects both medical excellence and human understanding.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Define, develop and implement the case management program
- Oversee operations including setting performance goals, reviewing metrics, providing coaching and mentoring, and scheduling
- Serve as primary leader for client-facing operational matters for HVOHA’s employer-clients
- Ensure our case management services adhere to regulatory requirements (HIPAA, workers’ compensation, occupational health best practices) and are adopted by the team
- Collaborate with the company’s departments to ensure consistent case management handovers, ensure clinic and field work feed into your case-management system
- Work with the leadership team to grow the case-management business: identify new service offerings, market differentiators, and referral networks
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or related healthcare field; Master’s preferred
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or equivalent clinical credential preferred (given the clinical nature of case management)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tele-case management, occupational health case management or related field; at least 3-5 years in a leadership/management role
- Demonstrated experience in developing and managing case management programs, preferably in occupational health, workers’ compensation, tele-health or employer-based settings
- Strong understanding of occupational health, injured worker claims, return-to-work processes, employer-client services, workers’ comp dynamics
- Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, manage performance, build operational processes, drive quality and efficiency
- Strong analytical skills: ability to define and use KPIs, dashboards, continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and client-relationship skills: ability to interact with internal teams, field personnel, clients and vendors
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance issues in case management, occupational health and HIPAA
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple business units, vendor networks, and navigate growth/change management
- Experience managing budgets, resources, and operational workflows
- Strong strategic mindset: able to identify opportunities, design scalable service models
