The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

The Decision Support Analyst provides financial and operational analysis, to assist in business decisions, as requested by all levels of management throughout the Health System,

Utilizing Performance Analytics tools and other available systems, the Decision Support Analyst will prepare reports to measure and trend key performance metrics and present results in an analytical manner,

Job responsibilities include:

On-going preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports, delivered to designated recipients within specified reporting period,

Provides key monthly volumes to Finance in a timely manner, to support month end close package,

Responsible for development of on-going reports to support new corporate initiatives, ensuring standardization of criteria across all entities, efficiency of report design, and complete documentation of process, to facilitate routine updates,

Responsible for preparation of adhoc requests from Corporate departments, according to specified criteria and timelines, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data,

Assists with data integrity analyses to ensure accuracy of data within the decision support data warehouse, by auditing results to source system,

This position reports to the Manager of Decision Support and will work closely with other members of the Decision Support team,

This position will be hybrid remote, working from home and travel between the RWJBarnabas Health locations may be required,

Bachelor s degree in Finance/Accounting required,

Experience in the Healthcare Industry a plus,

Microsoft Office experience with advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, required,

Knowledge of Decision Support Analytics tools, or other Business Intelligence tools, a plus,

Must be detail oriented and demonstrate great attention to detail to ensure highest level of quality/rigor in reports & data analysis is required,

Ability to meet deadlines and handle varying workloads with a high degree of accuracy,
