About BKS Security, LLCThe Project Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and oversight of electronic security installation projects from initiation through closeout. This includes managing material procurement, submittals, project documentation, technician scheduling, project closeout requirements, and maintaining clear communication with customers to ensure projects are executed efficiently and in accordance with company standards.
In addition, this role oversees all Electronics service dispatching, ensuring proper technician allocation, prioritization of service calls, and effective schedule management across the department.
The Project Coordinator also serves as a technical and operational resource to the Electronics team, supporting workflow consistency, documentation standards, and problem resolution to promote overall department effectiveness.
Pay Range: $50 - $57/hour (DOE)

- Coordinate electronic security installation projects from scheduling through completion.
- Review scope of work and confirm project requirements prior to mobilization.
- Order and track materials to align with project timelines.
- Manage submittals, project documentation, and closeout requirements.
- Schedule technicians based on project needs, licensing, and skill level.
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers regarding scheduling, progress, and project status.
- Ensure projects are completed in alignment with quoted scope and company standards.
- Coordinate and manage all Electronics service dispatches.
- Assign technicians based on availability, certifications, and urgency of service.
- Prioritize emergency calls and adjust schedules as needed.
- Maintain accurate dispatch board updates and scheduling records.
- Monitor workflow to minimize technician downtime and scheduling conflicts.
- Ensure service documentation is properly completed and tracked.
- Serve as a point of coordination for technical and workflow-related questions.
- Support technicians with project documentation standards and procedural guidance.
- Assist in identifying scheduling or material conflicts and recommend solutions.
- Promote consistency in installation practices and documentation.
- Support leadership with project status updates and department workflow visibility.
Project Coordinator Required Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State 01 or 06 Electronics License
- OSHA 30 certification
- 5+ years experience in electronic security systems with a proven track record of advanced troubleshooting and repair.
- Experience supervising field teams and coordinating multiphase projects.
- Proficiency with smartphones/tablets and site/project software; ability to read drawings and onelines.
- Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
- Able to lift 50+ lbs. and work on ladders/in varied environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturer certifications (access control, VMS/CCTV, alarm panels) and/or industry credentials (e.g., ALOA, PSP).
- Familiarity with project management tools.

$50 - $57 per hour
