Job Description

Care Coordinator

INTIND

Care Coordinator Domiciliary Care Preston

28,300 (25,000 + up to 3300 on call payment)

250 monthly bonus based on service performance

Full time, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Based at our Preston office PR1 8UQ, with travel across Preston and Blackpool [mileage paid at 45 pence per mile]

You can run a rota. Now get the staff to fill it.

Most coordinators spend their week chasing cover. At Routes, our in-house recruitment team recruits every care worker we employ, and we have zero agency use.

The role

You'll coordinate care across Preston and Blackpool using People Planner. Day to day, you'll:

  • Schedule and coordinate care visits.
  • Adapt rotas around staff availability, new service users and changes to existing care runs.
  • Make sure care workers attend meetings, supervisions and training within CQC-required timescales.
  • Support your Registered Manager to deliver a high-quality service.
  • Take part in the on-call rota, around 1 week a month

What you'll get

  • 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, and an extra day off for your birthday, from day one.
  • Central HR, Payroll, Quality, Marketing and IT teams behind you.
  • Digital Care Plans, so you're not chasing paperwork.
  • Career development through Routes Academy, [with a route into Care Manager / Registered Manager roles].
  • Pension scheme.
  • Employee Assistance Scheme for wellbeing and financial support.
  • Buy and sell Holiday scheme

What we're looking for

  • At least 12 months' experience coordinating care and managing rotas in domiciliary care.
  • A working understanding of CQC regulations.
  • Strong organisation and communication skills, and the confidence to lead a team of care workers.
  • A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle.
  • An NVQ or Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care is a bonus, but not essential.
