Position Summary
The Controller will oversee all accounting functions, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and provide accurate financial reporting. This role plays a key part in maintaining the financial health of the organization and supporting executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end close
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
- Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable laws and regulations
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Coordinate external audits and tax filings
- Monitor cash flow and financial performance
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,
- 5+ years of healthcare accounting experience, including leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with Quickbooks and Electronic Health Records queries
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a Healthcare setting
