Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both commercial and industrial electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to read schematics. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
• Use various tools including voltmeters, ohmmeters, and power tools to troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Ensure that all installations are compliant with NEC regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding electrical work.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrician in commercial or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety practices.
• Proficiency in using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment.
• Familiarity with reading schematics and technical drawings.
• Understanding of low voltage systems is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on various projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations are preferred.
