About This Position
About Reserv
Reserv is an insurtech creating and incubating cutting-edge AI and automation technology to bring efficiency and simplicity to claims. Founded by insurtech veterans with deep experience in SaaS and digital claims, Reserv is venture-backed by Bain Capital and Altai Ventures and began operations in May 2022. We are focused on automating highly manual tasks to tackle long-standing problems in claims and set a new standard for TPAs, insurance technology providers, and adjusters alike. We have ambitious (but attainable!) goals and need people who can work in an evolving environment. If building a leading TPA and the prospect of tackling the long-standing challenges of the claims role sounds exciting, we can't wait to meet you.
About the role
This is a unique, combined role that brings together two critical functions — corporate training and talent acquisition coordination. On one side, you'll be the face of our onboarding program, facilitating training sessions that get new employees productive, confident, and connected to our culture from day one. On the other hand, you'll keep our recruiting engine running smoothly, supporting scheduling, coordination, compliance, and candidate communications behind the scenes. Sitting at the intersection of Recruiting and People Ops, this person serves as a natural bridge — carrying candidates seamlessly from the final stages of hiring through to their first days of training, and ensuring a warm handoff to department teams for any role-specific learning that follows. This is a great fit for someone who facilitates with energy and professionalism, thrives in front of an audience, and loves the operational side of a fast-moving People team.
What you'll do
Training Delivery
- Facilitate engaging new hire training sessions (virtual), including orientation and corporate systems training.
- Deliver company-wide training content in a way that is clear, consistent, and tailored to adult learners
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company tools, processes, policies, and culture to ensure accurate and confident delivery
- Serve as a point of contact for new hires throughout their onboarding days
Learning Systems & Content Management
- Ensuring training content is current, well-organized, and easy to navigate
- Keep training materials, job aids, and knowledge base articles up to date in partnership with internal stakeholders
- Track training completion and flag gaps or issues to People Ops Leadership
Onboarding Coordination
- Coordinate pre-boarding and Day 1 logistics to ensure new hires are set up and ready to learn from the start
- Partner with Recruiters to ensure a smooth handoff and aligned expectations from offer to orientation
- Serve as the first line of support for new hire tech issues on Day 1, triaging equipment and access problems, and escalating to IT as needed
Recruiting Coordination
- Manage interview scheduling across recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates, ensuring all parties are confirmed and correctly set up
- Track interview feedback and scorecards, following up with interviewers to ensure timely completion
- Liaise with licensing on candidate compliance questions, tracking pending cases through to resolution
- Coordinate with Recruiting and People Ops to confirm background check clearance ahead of start dates, working with candidates to adjust where needed
- Manage the recruiting inbox, fielding inbound inquiries and routing questions to the appropriate recruiter
- Maintain and update the JD repository, ensuring all job descriptions are current, consistently formatted, and ready for use
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Gather feedback through surveys and structured check-ins to identify opportunities to improve training delivery
- Track key metrics, including training completion rates, assessment scores, and new hire satisfaction
- Share insights and recommendations with People leadership on a regular basis
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in corporate training, L&D, or People Operations, with a clear focus on facilitation and delivery
- Strong facilitation skills — you can hold a room (or a Zoom) and make complex content accessible and engaging
- Proven ability to deliver training effectively in a remote environment, keeping distributed audiences engaged through virtual platforms like Zoom or Google Meet
- Hands-on experience with an LMS (e.g., Workramp, Lessonly, TalentLMS, or similar)
- Comfort working cross-functionally with stakeholders across the business to stay aligned on company-wide training priorities
- Exceptionally detail-oriented — you catch what others miss, take pride in accuracy, and understand that small errors in scheduling, compliance, or candidate communications can have a big impact
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple new hire cohorts and recruiting workflows simultaneously without dropping the ball
- Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement — you actively seek input on your facilitation and coordination work and use it to grow
Preferred Qualifications (not required, but a bonus!)
- Experience in a tech environment strongly preferred
- A background in instructional design or a related certification (ATD, CPTD, etc.) would be a great addition
- Familiarity with adult learning theory and blended learning approaches is a plus
- Experience scaling training programs during periods of rapid company growth is highly valued
Benefits
- Generous health-insurance package with nationwide coverage, vision, & dental
- 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching
- Competitive PTO policy – we want our employees fresh, healthy, happy, and energized!
- Generous family leave policy after 8 months of continuous work
- Work from anywhere to facilitate your work life balance
- Apple laptop, large second monitor, and other quality-of-life equipment you may want. Technology is something that should make your life easier, not harder!
Additionally, we will
- Listen to your feedback to enhance and improve upon the long-standing challenges of an adjuster and the claims role
- Work toward reducing and eliminating all the administrative work from an adjuster role
- Foster a culture of empathy, transparency, and empowerment in a remote-first environment
