The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) operates as part of comprehensive 23-hour Crisis Stabilization team that provides ongoing assessment, crisis intervention and clinical determination for level of care to individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. This dynamic team addresses urgent behavioral health needs including but not limited to significant emotional dysregulation, disordered thought processes, substance use intoxication resulting in behavioral crisis and environmentally de-stabilizing events that require multi-disciplinary crisis intervention.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will be responsible for providing person-centered, trauma-informed care to these individuals with the goal of stabilization at the least restrictive level of care and an emphasis on post crisis growth. An ideal candidate for this Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position will work well with multiple internal and community stakeholders including police, community partners and other internal medical staff to coordinate care and safety in the community. The LPN will have experience working with individuals with psychiatric conditions as well as knowledge of care coordination, medication administration, lab administration, supply inventory and crisis management skills. The Licensed Practical Nurse(LPN) will perform other related duties as assigned.

VOCATIONAL/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT:
Requires a diploma in practical nursing.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
In addition to satisfying the vocational/education standards, this class requires a minimum of one year of related, full-time equivalent experience.
