Job Overview:
The pharmacist is responsible for the provision of pharmaceutical care to all patient age groups including geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric and neonatal patients. They are responsible for the preparation, dispensing and monitoring of both the prescribing and effectiveness of all medications and IV admixtures. They exercise considerable independent decision making. Provide advanced clinical services to assigned specialty area.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Completion of course at an accredited School of Pharmacy, with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD
- Registration in New Jersey as a pharmacist; current New Jersey licensure required
Preferred:
- Hospital pharmacy experience desirable
