Role: Director of Partnerships
FLSA: Full Time | Exempt | Salaried | Remote (US)
Reports to: CRO
Scope of Position: The Director of Partnerships will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive partnership strategy to drive pipeline and revenue growth. This role will focus predominantly on building a robust network of referral partners and establishing reseller agreements on an international scale. The ideal candidate will possess a strong strategic mindset, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a proven track record in partnership development.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but limited to:
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to build and expand Trustwell's partner network with the objective of increasing revenue opportunities for the business (KPI Measured -Close Rate and Pipeline Growth).
- Identify and evaluate potential partners, including technology companies, resellers, and industry organizations. (KPI Measured – Number of Partners Accounts and contacts created).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners to drive joint business opportunities.
- Develop and manage an international partnership strategy, ensuring Trustwell’s solutions are effectively represented and promoted in key global markets.
- Navigate cross-cultural business landscapes to establish and maintain strong international partnerships.
- Negotiate and manage partnership agreements, ensuring mutual benefit and alignment with company objectives (KPI Measured – New Logo Bookings).
- Oversee the entire partner lifecycle, from identification and onboarding to ongoing relationship management and performance evaluation.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product, and customer success, to maximize partnership impact.
- Monitor and report on partnership performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. (KPI Measured - # of Partners signed, # of SQLs, Stage Velocity, Sales Velocity, New Bookings and Close Rate).
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote partnership opportunities.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities to continuously refine and enhance the partnership strategy.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive partnership plans.
- Ability to negotiate partnership contracts from ideation to close.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or similar; required. (Advanced degree preferred)
- 5+ years of experience of experience in partnership development, business development, or related within a B2B industry; required. Experience in the Food Industry a plus.
- Proven track record of consistently scaling and managing strategic partnerships and reseller agreements; preferably with an international focus.

The compensation for this role is based on several factors, including the candidate's experience, education, skills, and alignment with the responsibilities outlined for the role. The anticipated salary range for this role is outlined below; with most candidates hired in the mid-range.

The pay range for this role is:
110,000 - 120,000 USD per year(Remote (Raleigh, North Carolina, US))
