Insurance Biller at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center – Chanute, Kansas

The Insurance Biller performs all billing responsibilities. In addition, must be able to perform all job duties / responsibilities specific to the payer they have been assigned and be cross-trained with other insurance billers to cover their assigned payers.

Perform other duties as requested or assigned. May be expected to work varying hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED) preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• Three to five years’ experience in healthcare patient accounts preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly, use good judgement and be understanding towards patients.
• Ability to work under stress with frequent interruptions.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with patient records.
• Proficiency on personal computer.
