We are Soode Kansas Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Alconix Corporation (Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime Market listed). We manufacture and supply top-cap components for lithium-ion battery cells to Panasonic Energy of North America, operating within Panasonic’s Gigafactory in De Soto, Kansas.

Summary:

The Part-Time Recruiter is responsible for supporting full cycle recruiting activities for manufacturing, technical, and professional roles. This role works primarily remotely with the need to be on-site for recruiting events, interviews, and community or school outreach.

The ideal candidate brings 3 or more years of recruiting experience, understands manufacturing environments, and is comfortable partnering closely with hiring managers in a fast-growing operation.

This position has an opportunity to be converted to a full-time on-site HR Generalist role later this year.

Responsibilities:

Support full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried positions, including production, engineering, quality, and administrative roles

• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and hiring timelines
• Develop and post job advertisements on appropriate platforms
• Screen resumes, conduct initial phone/video interviews, and coordinate on-site interviews
• Participate in or support on-site recruiting events, job fairs, school outreach, and interview days as needed
• Maintain candidate pipelines and provide regular status updates to HR and hiring managers
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and documentation in compliance with company policy and applicable laws
• Support other HR or recruiting-related projects as assigned

Qualification:

• Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience, preferably supporting manufacturing, industrial, or technical roles
• Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing environments, workforce needs, and plant operations
• Experience recruiting hourly production roles as well as professional or technical positions
• Strong interviewing, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with on-site teams
• Experience with ATS platforms preferred
• Flexibility to attend on-site interviews or recruiting events as needed
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a start-up or fast-changing environment

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

• Required to wear safety vest when working onsite.
