RN-CMH HOS Oncology Infusion at Citizens Memorial – Bolivar, Missouri

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our staff in our Oncology Clinic. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the department:

The Carrie J. Babb Cancer Center is a partnership between Citizens Memorial Hospital and Central Care Cancer Center in Kansas. The facility provides medical oncology/hematology, as well as radiation services.

Services include:

• Chemotherapy
• Hematology
• Rehabilitation services
• Prosthetic fittings
• Social services
• Dietary services

A typical day includes: The Registered Nurse will play a vital role in patient assessment, care coordination, and education while ensuring high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

• Verifies and documents patient allergies, pharmacy, medications, and health histories as required by visit intake.
• Administration of medications via PO, IM, SQ, ID, INH routes. IV if IV certified LPN or RN
• Screening assessments include, but not limited to: suicide, depression, substance abuse, fall risk, memory, cognition, vision and hearing

Job Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing).
• Experience: Previous clinical or health care experience preferred.
• Skills:Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking abilities. Proficiency with EMR systems preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Active Missouri RN Nursing license
• Physical: ability to stand and be mobile 90 % of the day and working at a computer the remaining 10%

The position is: Full Time/Days 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
