SPVR LINEN SERVICES at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center – Tampa, Florida

• The Linen Program Supervisor is responsible for overall management of the Linen Department functions and personnel.
• Responsibilities include inventory management, purchasing, and quality control for all departments using linen supplies throughout the hospital.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Six (6) years of environmental services and/or housekeeping experience in a healthcare provider facility, research lab and/or medical facility environment is required (preferably in a hospital setting)
• The following experience can be inclusive of the six (6) years listed above.
• Four (4) years of linen management and/or environmental services experience in a healthcare provider facility, research lab and/or medical facility environment is required (preferably in a hospital setting)
• Three (3) years customer service experience
• Two (2) years supervisory or project lead experience

Responsibilities:

• Linen inventorying, delivery to customers and confirmation of delivered linen
• Data Collection, reporting and reviewing invoices and packing slips for accuracy
• Educating and training end users, conducting linen meetings
• Cleaning and upkeep of linen room
• Other Administrative tasks

Credentials and Qualifications:

• Associates Degree Required –Six (6) years of environmental services and/or housekeeping experience in a healthcare provider facility, research lab and/or medical facility environment is required (preferably in a hospital setting) The following experience can be inclusive of the six (6) years listed above
• Four (4) years of linen management and/or environmental services experience in a healthcare provider facility, research lab and/or medical facility environment is required (preferably in a hospital setting)
• Three (3) years customer service experience
• Two (2) years supervisory or project lead experience

A HS Diploma with additional 2 years external(or 1 year internal Moffitt Specific) related work experience on top of the 6 years required may be considered in lieu of an Associate’s Degree

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
