POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Ultrasound Technical Coordinator and Ultrasound lead radiologist, provides education and supervision for diagnostic medical sonography students, consistent with the profession’s established standards of clinical instruction. Performs duties to ensure the highest quality of patient care in an effective and efficient manner. Is ultimately responsible for evaluating students and reporting progress to institutional staff. May be called upon to train and provide support to registered sonographers on exams they may not be proficient in. Maintains other duties as a diagnostic medical sonographer.
