About This Position

Description: Job Description

At ERD, our Biomedical Equipment Technicians (BMETs) play a critical role in keeping healthcare environments safe, operational, and ready to serve patients.

As a BMET I / Field Service Technician, you’ll begin building your career in healthcare technology through hands-on experience across hospitals, surgical centers, and clinical environments. This is a field-based role where no two days are the same. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians to support preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment repairs, and installations.

This position is ideal for someone who is technically curious, self-motivated, and eager to grow in a fast-paced, real-world environment.

At ERD, you won’t be stuck on a bench - you’ll be out in the field, learning directly on equipment that impacts patient care. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of medical devices, including systems used in surgical suites and sterile processing departments, while developing both your technical and customer-facing skills.

Technicians support our clients through preventive maintenance, service response, equipment evaluations, and clinical staff interaction, all while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

This is more than a job - it’s the start of a career in a growing, specialized field with a company that values initiative, reliability, and continuous development.
