Driver Helper at House of Rental and Sales Inc – Skokie, Illinois

We are currently seeking a Driver Helper to join our party rental team. This position supports our delivery drivers in providing friendly, professional service to our customers. If you enjoy hands-on work, being active throughout the day, and working as part of a team, this may be the right fit for you.
Delivery areas include: Skokie, Wilmette, Winnetka, Evanston, Morton Grove, Glenview, Northbrook, Chicago, Highland Park, Mount Prospect, Arlington Heights, Park Ridge, and surrounding suburban areas.

Key Responsibilities
Assist drivers with daily deliveries and pickups
Load and unload tables, chairs, tents, and other party rental equipment
Help pull and stage orders in the warehouse when needed
Assist with unloading and setting equipment at customer locations
Count and verify inventory before leaving the shop and upon return
Help maintain clean, organized trucks and warehouse areas
Provide friendly, professional customer service at delivery sites
This is a physically demanding position requiring lifting, carrying, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Requirements
Ability to lift and move heavy rental equipment on a daily basis
Strong attention to detail (inventory counting and order accuracy)
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Dependable and punctual
Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime during peak season
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
