Jim Shorkey Commercial Center is seeking a skilled and motivated Shop Foreman to lead our service department in Irwin, PA. If you’re an experienced technician with leadership skills and a passion for quality work, we want to hear from you!

As Shop Foreman, you’ll oversee daily operations in the service shop, ensuring high-quality repairs, efficient workflow, and exceptional customer satisfaction. You’ll be the go-to technical expert and mentor for our team of technicians.

• Supervise and support technicians in diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance
• Ensure work is completed efficiently and meets manufacturer standards
• Coordinate with service advisors to manage repair timelines and customer expectations
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive shop environment
• Provide hands-on assistance with complex repairs and troubleshooting

• Deep understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostics
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues quickly and accurately
• Familiarity with manufacturer standards and repair procedures (especially Ford and Stellantis)

• Strong mentoring skills to guide and develop technicians
• Ability to delegate tasks effectively and manage shop workflow
• Promotes a positive, collaborative team culture

• Keeps the shop running smoothly and efficiently
• Manages repair timelines and technician productivity
• Ensures compliance with safety and quality standards

• Acts as a bridge between technicians and service advisors

• Proven experience as a technician or foreman in a dealership or automotive repair shop
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
• Stellantis (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram) experience required
• ASE certifications and manufacturer training a plus
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
