This is a dynamic role designed for someone who thrives on variety: you will primarily work as part of a two-person delivery team, but you must be fully capable of operating independently and covering routes as a solo Main Driver when needed. Whether you are assisting a partner with a heavy load or managing a route by yourself, you are the face of Pella’s commitment to quality and service. Key Responsibilities Box Truck Operation: Safely drive and maneuver a Box Truck on assigned routes throughout the region. Flexible Delivery: Work effectively as a "Second Man" in a team environment or independently to complete solo deliveries and route coverage. Product Handling: Load, secure, and unload premium windows and doors, ensuring all products reach the jobsite in perfect condition. Customer Representation: Provide professional, clear communication with customers at residential and commercial sites. Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all Pella Safe Operating Procedures and ensure the vehicle is maintained and operated safely in all conditions. Qualifications Experience: Previous experience driving a Box Truck or similar large commercial vehicle is required. Adaptability: Ability to work well in a team and the self-motivation to work by yourself as a solo driver. Physical Strength: Ability to handle the physical demands of moving large, heavy products (windows and doors). Reliability: High School Diploma/GED, a valid driver’s license, and a dependable work history. License: A clean driving record is essential.
