About This Position

Position Description:

NEW HOTEL OPENING IN MAY!!!

The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and breaking down the hotels complimentary breakfast service. This role ensures guests receive a clean, well-stocked, and welcoming breakfast experience while maintaining all food safety and sanitation standards.


Key Responsibilities
Breakfast Setup & Service
Prepare and set up breakfast items (hot and cold) according to brand standards
Ensure all food and beverage stations are fully stocked before and during service
Monitor food quality, temperature, and presentation throughout service
Replenish items such as eggs, pastries, cereal, juice, coffee, and condiments
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area at all times
Guest Service
Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
Answer questions about food items and hotel amenities
Ensure a positive and welcoming dining experience
Address guest concerns promptly and escalate when necessary
Food Safety & Sanitation
Follow all local health department regulations and food safety procedures
Maintain proper food temperatures (hot and cold holding)
Use proper hygiene practices (handwashing, gloves, etc.)
Clean and sanitize all food contact surfaces, utensils, and equipment
Properly store food items and label/date products as required
Cleaning & Breakdown
Clean tables, counters, and service areas continuously during breakfast
Wash dishes using a 3-compartment sink (wash, rinse, sanitize)
Break down and properly store all food and equipment after service
Remove trash and maintain cleanliness of back-of-house areas
Inventory & Supplies
Track breakfast inventory and notify management of low stock
Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries (e.g., Sysco products)
