Qualifications

RS&H is currently seeking a Structures Area Discipline Lead to join our team.

As part of the infrastructure team, you'll serve an integral role in the firm by managing a team that supports the successful delivery of small to mid-size projects, enhancing strong client relationships and growth of our portfolio, and driving operational excellence, including profitability, operational efficiency, resource management, and quality deliverables. This position will foster a diverse knowledge of appropriate discipline principles and techniques; oversee and lead the delivery of multiple projects that are critical to expanding client relationships and growing our portfolio; create an engaging and empowering work environment for the team; lead client relationship development activities and partner with client managers and business development teams to drive top line sales growth; lead the development and execution of win strategies for high-profile core business and critical pursuits; and ensure adherence to all client and regulatory requirements.

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Have a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program and seven years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
  • Have an active PE license in FL and be in good standing.
  • Have a passion for Structural Engineering and possess a strong knowledge of all aspects of bridge design.
  • Be capable of marketing services to existing and new clients, and adept at mentoring and encouraging a team to maximize their abilities.
  • Possess strong leadership, analytical, prioritization, problem-solving, and communication skills, including the ability to build rapport quickly.
