Job Summary

The Project Manager oversees property restoration projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. This role requires coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution while maintaining excellent communication and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple property restoration projects simultaneously.
  • Conduct regular onsite inspections to ensure quality control.
  • Develop accurate project plans and construction schedules.
  • Maintain consistent communication with homeowners, tenants, and property managers.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, managing their work effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Resolve project issues or conflicts promptly.
  • Document all job interactions, updates, and progress in DASH.
  • Provide photo documentation in Company Cam.
  • Educate customers on the restoration process and manage expectations.
  • Monitor budgets to ensure projects are completed on time and within margin.
  • Maintain transparency on project status and involve relevant team members if issues arise.
  • Represent the company professionally and positively.
  • Plan daily tasks for maximum efficiency, including route planning for site visits.
  • Collaborate with estimators to ensure accurate scopes of work and communicate any supplements or change orders.
  • Review invoices, deposits, margins, and job numbers to ensure accurate job costing in QuickBooks.
  • Create and submit POs accurately and on time.
  • Work closely with in-house technicians and subcontractors, setting them up for success.
  • Continuously expand the subcontractor network.
  • Update the team on any changes to contact info, gate codes, lockboxes, insurance, or property management details.
  • Build and maintain relationships with property managers to generate additional opportunities.
  • Support the company’s sales efforts by fostering client relationships and seeking new opportunities.
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proactive with excellent time management.
  • Calm under pressure with effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and homebuilding.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction estimates and budgets.
  • Comfortable making decisions “on-the-fly.”
  • Proficient in project management software.
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to mentor and support others.
Education and Experience:
  • Proven experience in project management, property restoration, or construction.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to property restoration.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of standing or sitting.
  • Ability to conduct site visits and inspections as needed.
  • Occasional lifting or physical activity may be required.
