About the role

The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the operational status, maintenance coordination, compliance tracking, and logistical movement of fleet assets across all company locations. This position ensures equipment readiness to meet customer needs while maintaining service compliance, tracking integrity, and efficient yard operations.

What you'll do

  • Manage the status of all equipment listed in the Master Yard Report, including:
    • Spotters
    • Trailers
    • Support Vehicles
    • Support Equipment
    • With special focus on units in Shop Status
  • Coordinate Yard Mule operations, working closely with Sales to ensure units are prepped and delivered in a timely manner
  • Arrange and manage transportation logistics for equipment pickup and delivery
  • Coordinate off-site repairs for Spotters and other Fleet assets with approved vendors
  • Track Spotters and other Fleet assets to ensure timely preventative maintenance and service completion
  • Monitor and ensure service compliance for all FML equipment
  • Review fleet tracking systems to verify operational status and coordinate repairs as necessary
  • Administer GPS equipment needs and maintain appropriate GPS inventory
  • Manage Fleet Fuel Depository operations
  • Coordinate and manage road breakdown response for designated customers

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Experience in fleet management, transportation, or equipment coordination preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, transporters, and internal departments
  • Working knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and compliance tracking
  • Proficiency in fleet tracking and GPS systems
