Position_Description : Haul Truck Driver responsibilities and abilities include but are not limited to the list below. Other duties may be assigned.
- Loads truck by hand or by operating mechanical loader.
- Pulls levers or turns crank to tilt body and dump contents.
- Perform inspections of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories such as tires, lights, turn signals and brakes
- Ensure cargo is properly loaded according to safety requirements, size up load
- Follow all safety policies, procedures and legislation, at all times observes and operates within applicable traffic laws
- Communicate with other Haul Truck Drivers and equipment operators using communication devices such as a two-ways radio or onboard computers
- Moves hand and foot controls to jerk truck forward and backward to loosen and dump material adhering to body.
- Position Requirements :High School diploma/GED.
- Have a minimum of 1-2 years of haul truck driving experience or a minimum of 2 years of training with a minimum of 6 months of equivalent work experience.
- Must have 1+ year in maintain log books
- Willing to do labor work
- Ability to work safely under pressure with time constraints in a changing environment.
