Soap Processing Associate at Cheeky – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Soap Processing Associate:

Soap Processing Associates are responsible for processing soap from production blocks as well as cleaning and lining soap molds. This position requires training and use of customized equipment using electric hoists. Daily production targets must be met while while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy. All safety protocols and procedures must be adhered to, including proper handling of equipment, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and compliance with safety regulations and good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Work Environment:

This position works in a typical warehouse environment. Pleasant and safe working atmosphere and conditions, which at times may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.

Physical Effort:

Physical effort, requires handling of average-weight objects in up to 50 pounds and high levels of standing and walking.

Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00pm. Occasional overtime work may be offered as job duties demand.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no supervisory responsibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in packaging or manufacturing preferred, ideally in a warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
