About This Position

Position Summary:

The Sales Account Executive is responsible for the promotion, customer education, and sales of the PayMedix and TempoPay product lines to Health Insurance Agents, Third Party Administrators and Employer Groups nationwide. This individual should be results driven, confident, and possess strong communication and organizational skills. This position is eligible for sales incentive compensation in addition to base salary.

  • Assist VP of Partnerships and Sales in the quoting process for new groups
  • Assist VP of Partnerships and Sales in engaging with market brokers and consultants to drive education on our solution and target opportunities
  • Make recommendations to customers, based on customers' needs and interests
  • Answer customers' questions - products, prices, availability, terms, etc.
  • Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support as needed
  • Identify prospective customers, following leads from existing clients, participate in organizations/functions, and attend trade shows and conferences
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales
  • Assist VP of Partnerships and Sales in building out the best opportunities and driving marketing plans as appropriate
  • Perform administrative duties such as CRM, pipeline entries and management, and pipeline reporting as needed
  • Conduct employee education meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Passionate about solving for the access to healthcare challenges that the U.S. population faces today
  • Knowledge of the self-funded market place (from carrier/TPA, brokers/consultant or other manner)
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services
  • Customer service: customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluating customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills: listening and speaking effectively with customers in a professional manner. Organized to allow for efficient and effective follow-up
  • Self-starter with strong work ethic
  • Results-drive and confident
  • Ability to travel
  • Dependable
  • Critical-thinking and negotiation skills
  • Desire to grow and take on a larger sales role in the future

Education/Experience:

  • College degree and/or minimum 5 years industry related experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Knowledge of/experience in the group healthcare industry is a plus
  • Experience working in either health and benefits consulting, TPA/health plan selling or in a sales support role of value added services
  • Experience working with Hubspot or equivalent CRM tool is preferred
  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
  • Candidates with a combination or significant, relevant experience and education meeting the minimum requirements may be substituted
