Reports To: Clinic Floor Supervisor
Employment Type: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Range: $20–$23/hour (based on experience)

What You'll Do
As a Medical Assistant at CNS, you'll play a central role in delivering high-quality occupational health services. Your day-to-day will include:
- Performing DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing
- Preparing patients for exams and conducting ancillary testing (vital signs, vaccinations, phlebotomy, pulmonary function testing, audiometry, and respirator fit testing)
- Assisting clinicians with procedures and injury care, including applying bandages, dressings, and splints as directed
- Dispensing medications and durable medical equipment (DME) in accordance with state guidelines
- Keeping exam rooms clean, well-stocked, and equipment properly calibrated
- Accurately documenting patient encounters and supporting triage
- Handling front office responsibilities: welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, managing multi-line phones, and communicating with employer clients
Additional opportunities include:

Required:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) — or currently enrolled in an MA program with hands-on experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and on the phone
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment with shifting priorities
- Professional, friendly demeanor with a team-first attitude
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort with electronic health records (EHR)
Preferred (but not required - we'll train the right person):
- Phlebotomy experience
- Familiarity with DOT testing procedures
- Experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or a similar outpatient setting
Physical Requirements: This role involves standing for extended periods, assisting with patient positioning, and occasional travel to off-site locations.
