About This Position
Purpose of this Job:
This job is responsible to maintain production manufacturing equipment including problem resolution and preventive maintenance.
Principle Duties/Essential Functions:
· Understand the mechanical function of all machines on employee’s assigned product lines including necessity and frequency for preventive maintenance and efficient problem resolution
· Utilize working knowledge of Sanden product and manufacturing processes to increase OEE/machine efficiency metrics
· Appropriate document issues and resolutions in maintenance system for future reference
· Establish and follow preventive maintenance processes and timeframes for specific machinery
· Monitor equipment health and make necessary repairs / upgrades
Other Tasks/Responsibilities:
· Establish spare parts for new and existing equipment
· Monitor small equipment interruptions (micro stops) and make repairs
· Provide technical support to internal customers
· Prepare technical data for internal and external customers
· Document equipment repairs by completing work orders

Education:
· Graduate of technical school for mechanical / electrical technician, or has high school diploma and 5 years’ work experience in a technical area
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
· 5-7 years’ experience in manufacturing machine maintenance
· PLC/CNC trouble shooting and or programming
· Good communication skill with internal customers
· Ability to read and understand schematics and diagnose countermeasures and problem resolution
· Technical certification in machine maintenance preferred
Licenses or Certifications:
· Powered industrial truck certifications: Forklift, Scissor lift, and boom lift
Physical Demands:
· Routine lifting of 25 lb. loads may be necessary
· Possible exposure to high noise levels
· Possible exposure to chemicals (oils, refrigerants, solvents)
· Ability to work effectively under pressure and be able to prioritize workloads
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
· Employee must regularly wear safety glasses, safety shoes, gloves, and hearing protection
· Other PPE may be required based on safety policies
Work Environment/Hours:
· Primary work area is in a manufacturing setting 85%
· 15% office environment
· Must work production shift with possible overtime on evenings and weekends
