Do you have a background in marketing and events and want to get a more hands-on experience with a fun and supportive team? Dermot’s Dermot Ignite is looking for lively individuals with an interest in event planning and marketing at luxury residential properties throughout NYC. Join us as a Dermot’s Dermot Ignite Ambassador!
What is Dermot’s Dermot Ignite ?
Dermot’s Dermot Ignite is an exclusive, luxury, lifestyle membership club for Dermot residents. We support our properties by cultivating community through high-quality service, events, and unique experiences. Our mission is to activate the Dermot amenity spaces by providing memorable, elevated events that will connect you with other residents that will help build long-lasting relationships, as well as introduce you to new skills and hobbies!
What you'll do
● This is an hourly, on-call job - Perfect for those who have prior service industry experience or who are currently in the service industry
● Attending and hosting unique luxury residential events at various properties throughout the city
● Execute content creation at events to be used for Dermot’s marketing and social media efforts
● Identifying trends in the event planning space and opportunities for our team to remain on the cutting edge of luxury residential events
● Ability to work in all boroughs, major plus (please indicate this in your application)
Qualifications
● You MUST have experience in the service industry, event planning, and/or hosting
● You are friendly, outgoing, professional, and a strong communicator
● You are highly reliable, a self-starter
● Punctuality: Adherence to posted schedule and arrival time and attendance at mandatory meetings when scheduled
● Strong attention for details
● Organizational Skills: Work efficiently, utilize multi-tasking, prioritize tasks
● Comfortable in fast paced environments and ability to multitask while fielding the needs and questions of residents
● You are a good photographer, either on your phone or with a camera (images from events must be high quality and eye-catching)
● Ability to work select weekday afternoons/evenings and select weekend days
Bonus Qualifications
● You have marketing experience ● You are creative and think outside the box ● You have experience with social media (Instagram, Facebook, & TikTok), knowledge of social media trends ● You have your hand on the pulse of trends in event planning
We encourage our ambassadors to engage with the residents at events! Our attendance can range from 20 residents to 300 residents depending on the event. To give you an idea of the events that we host for our residents, past events include (but are not limited to): ● Super Bowl Parties ● Cocktail Mixology Class ● Terrarium Workshops ● Comedy Night ● Summer BBQ Parties ● Valentine’s Day Events ● Kid Events ● Cooking Classes ● Self Defense Classes ● Paint and Sip
